there is a lot of rain and thunder and lightning happening outside and I haven’t stepped out of my apartment for the past 7 hours
so of course it makes sense that, just as I am trying to fall asleep, I have a massive allergic reaction to pollen/trees/grass/everything outdoors in general. I haven’t been outdoors in hours! I took a shower right after coming inside! Does a little army of allergens follow me everywhere and wait for the least opportune moment to attack? Tufts of pollen with evil eyebrows and feelings of inadequacy who get some perverse pleasure from turning my nose into the Old Faithful of the east coast? At this point, I have to assume it’s personal. Well Dear Nature, sorry my body hates you but stop being such an asshole about it.
