I will be single forever, part 2 Level 123 of tetris. Level 123, people. That doesn’t just happen. That requires skill, and probably a dash of pathetic. That requires a lot of time alone, time with little to no human interaction, with sweatpants that have a loose elastic band, with unshowered hair because you are unemployed and why would you bother to shower if no one else is going to see you? Time with an entire bin of trader joe’s peanut butter cups on the nightstand to absentmindedly wolf down by yourself because, hey, you don’t have to share, time with headphones on to block out the sound of your roommate and her boyfriend having the sex you aren’t having. Time with freetetris.org open in one window and netflix open in another so that, in the second when the block is about to fall into the right place, you have an episode of mindnumbing TV playing to distract you from thinking about how alone you are, how alone you will always, always be.
